Magnificent storm clouds building over a tiny abandoned house. Power versus vulnerability.
Wheatland County is a district about 25 minutes away from my home in Calgary. Some good friends of ours recently moved out there and I have had the pleasure of discovering some new areas and subjects to photograph. I’ve been out twice now for photographs.
The first visit was to photograph the remains of an old house I’d seen and then some old grain elevators, a common site in rural Alberta and something I’ve been meaning to do for too long.
My second visit was to a provincial park and a walk by the Bow river presented me with good opportunities to capture river scenes. I was rewarded at the end of the day with a beautiful sunset and captured some nice images.
