I’d had my new camera a couple of months when I decided venture out one evening to try some night photography. This first image is my favourite. The exposure time was 14minutes and 2 seconds. I found a great app that helped me to determine this. initially, I thought this was way too long but tried it anyway. It was very dark at this location after all.
This was taken on a riverside pathway close to my home in China.
Wending my way home after a long evening of photography, I heard this gentleman playing his traditional Chinese stringed instrument, the name of which escapes me. He was really, really good. So good in fact, that I’m quite sure he played professionally. I didn’t want to intrude so I just grabbed a quick shot and continued home.
